Wild Dunes Resort

We were very disappointed with our stay at Beachwood West 6. Upon arrival, the unit was not cleaned to a livable standard: • Stained and dirty linens and towels. • Bedsheets with hair and visible stains — we could not sleep in the bedrooms and had to sleep on the couch without coverings our first night. • Bathrooms and toilets not properly cleaned. • Kitchen appliances, cookware, and utensils were dirty. Although housekeeping was eventually sent, they were in the home from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. the following day, which further disrupted our stay. While the property management apologized and offered $250 resort credit, they refused to refund a full night despite the fact that the home was unusable on arrival. We paid $1600 for the weekend and did not feel that a resort credit was sufficient compensation. This experience did not meet the standard advertised, and we would not stay here again. I hope future guests are aware before booking.

Had such a great experience staying here! I stayed here on a business trip so did not get to enjoy all of the property but it is beautiful and the staff is wonderful! Phillisa really went the extra mile to make my stay memorable, always greeting with a smile and calling a taxi for me at the end of my stay

The resort is lovely. Lots of things to do for adults and children. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Phillisa, who checked us in, remembered our names a day and a half later. Amazing!

Great place to relax and unwind. Rooms were beautiful, staff helpful and friendly. The spa was amazing my husband and I did the shine package and slumber. Felt so relaxed after. Food and drink good. Overall great experience.

I was at the resort for a 2 day business conference, so I didn't get to use the amenities. The conference rooms, chairs, and tables were nice. It was a little cold, but that was on me, I should have brought an extra sweater. I didn't have a view of the ocean, but the large patio/balcony on the 5th floor of the Sweetgrass Inn was great to watch sunsets on. The room was clean, quiet, air conditioning worked well, really no complaints. I suggest the chair at the desk be more comfortable, I was sitting for a while for work and they weren't quite comfortable for long periods of time. One more lamp in the room would have been nice too.

Our experience with the Sweetgrass Inn and its customer service was wonderful. Phillisa and Sakaie greeted us with warm smiles, taking excellent care to exceed our expectations as we entered the lobby for our weekend away. 10/10 would come here again because of this duo of excellent hosts.
